This play is a drama AND a musical, and will incorporate choreography, swordplay, live instrumentation, freaky make-up and more!
Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Auditioners who wish to be considered for a singing role in the show's musical portions should prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre or operetta song.
Rehearsals will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, 7:00 - 9:30

After the collapse of civilization, a group of survivors share a campfire and begin to piece together the plot of The Simpsons episode "Cape Feare" entirely from memory. Seven years later, this and other snippets of pop culture (sitcom plots, commercials, jingles, and pop songs) have become the live entertainment of a post-apocalyptic society, sincerely trying to hold onto its past. Seventy-five years later, these are the myths and legends from which new forms of performance are created.
WARNING: This show does include depictions of violence, both cartoonish and realistic, including gun violence, as well as depiction of a panic attack, people shouting, and discussion of trauma.
